The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has cancelled license of Royal Bank.
Board Chairman Azer Shahmerdanov told APA that the suspension of license takes temporary character.
‘Probably, the license will be restored in the near future. Talks are underway with the CBA in this direction’, added Shahmerdanov.
Note that, CBA has confirmed the information about suspension of the license.
Remind that, Royal Bank was established in 1993. It has 32 branches, 31 ATMs and 113 POS-terminals across the country.
As of April 1, 2012, assets of the bank made AZN 180.481 mln, loan portfolio – AZN 123.263 mln, deposit portfolio – AZN 80.113 mln, total capital – AZN 16.754 mln, as well as authorized capitals – AZN 22.139 mln.
