Kai Winkler has been appointed as General Manager for Turkey’s first Fairmont Hotel, Fairmont Quasar Istanbul, opening in the first quarter of 2017.

Kai Winkler joins Fairmont Quasar Istanbul as General Manager, bringing with him over20 years of luxury hospitality experience in both resort and city hotels. A graduate of the Hotel Management Academy in Koblenz, Germany, Mr.Winkler holds a BA in Hotel Administration and an Executive MBA in Hospitality & Tourism from NEOMA Business School in Paris, France. Winkler has managed luxury five-star hotels in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Turkey and most recently in China where he was General Manager of Kempinski managed Phoenix Hotel Dalian
